In Italy, a new generation of designers began working on radical concepts that seemed straight out of the future. Thus began the era of unworldly 1970’s concept cars — wedges on wheels with angular edges, stretched skins, and roof heights dropped to windowsill level. Drivers practically sat on the floor, with windscreens and bonnets forming the same flat plane, while the roar of a V12 engine screamed just behind their heads.\nThough many of these concepts are now forgotten, one became the poster car of the 1980s, inspiring not just automotive design but also sci-fi movies, fighter jets, speedboats, and more. UFO is Playforever’s celebration of dreaming big and embracing radical change. Playforever draws inspiration from classic racing cars and planes of the 1920s, as well as 1960s New York. Their designs mix art, fashion, traditional design, and modernism. All toys feature child-friendly rubber wheels and UV-resistant paint finishes.
